Types of Data Collected
When visiting Piccadilly Pizzeria's website, statistical visitor data is collected about which parts of the web offering are visited particularly frequently by the respective user. This may include data regarding the browser used by the user, operating system, web logs and other connection data, regardless of whether their collection is necessary for our or other purposes. In this context, it is sometimes necessary to use so-called cookies. Analytics cookies are only used with your consent. The data they collect is pseudonymous: your browser is recognised by a random identifier in a cookie, not by your name, and Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses.
Piccadilly Pizzeria does not automatically collect personal data from users such as names, addresses, telephone numbers or email addresses. An exception to this are details that the user voluntarily transmits to Piccadilly Pizzeria by filling out website forms or contacting Piccadilly Pizzeria in other ways via the website. The copies of sent emails in our sending queue are deleted automatically after one year.
Pickup orders
When you place a pickup order on our website, we store your name, phone number, email address, the dishes you ordered and any remarks in order to prepare your order. The order is sent to the restaurant by email, and you receive a confirmation by email. The stored order record is deleted automatically after 30 days.
Orders can also be placed through AI assistants connected to our interface for AI assistants (/mcp). The same details are collected and handled in the same way as for an order on the website. The processing within the AI assistant itself is governed by its provider's privacy policy.
Use of Cookies
To continuously improve the website for users, Piccadilly Pizzeria may use cookies. Cookies are small software information stored by browsers (e.g. Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox) on the user's computer hard drive to facilitate the use of the website (e.g. language selection, shopping cart, etc.). Necessary cookies, for example for your cookie settings, contain no personal data. Analytics cookies are only set with your consent; they contain a random identifier that recognises your browser, but not your name. At no time is spyware installed or used to access data and information stored on the computer.
Most browsers accept such cookies automatically, however browsers can be configured not to accept or store cookies. Details on this can be found in the browser's user manual or help function.
Use of Data
The pseudonymous data recorded with your consent when visiting the Piccadilly Pizzeria website using analytics cookies can be used for analysis purposes, website optimization and performance measurement. Piccadilly Pizzeria may use the following third-party providers for this purpose, some of which have their own privacy policies over which Piccadilly Pizzeria has no influence:
Google Privacy Policy
Data that users transmit themselves as users of the website may be used by Piccadilly Pizzeria for the purpose of improving the website as well as individual user support.
Google Analytics
Piccadilly Pizzeria uses Google Analytics 4 through Firebase Analytics, a web analytics service of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics is only loaded once you consent to analytics cookies in the cookie banner. Without your consent no analytics cookies are set and no data is sent to Google.
It records the pages visited (without parameters in the address, except campaign identifiers such as utm_source) and their titles, the previously visited page, information about your browser and device, page loading measurements, clicks on phone, e-mail or map links (only the kind of link, never the number or address), general usage statistics and the fact that the contact form was sent, but not its content. In the ordering area it also records the dishes added to or removed from the cart and the opening of the cart and the order form. A placed pickup order is recorded as an order value with the dishes ordered and a randomly generated order number, never with your name, phone number, e-mail address or notes. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. For visitors from Switzerland and the EU the data is collected on servers in the EU; any transfer to Google LLC in the USA relies on the Swiss-U.S. and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, under which Google is certified.
You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of the website. For more information, see Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Google Maps
On the contact page we show our location with an embedded Google Maps map, a service of Google Ireland Limited (affiliated with Google LLC, USA). The map loads as soon as you scroll near it. Your browser then sends your IP address, information about your browser and device and the page you are viewing to Google; data may be transferred to the USA. We have no influence on how Google processes this data further. For more information, see Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Also when service providers who support Piccadilly Pizzeria in data processing, website management or in other ways as well as in providing the products and services requested by the user are involved. These third parties are obligated to maintain the same level of security and data protection as Piccadilly Pizzeria.

However, Piccadilly Pizzeria cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted by users.
